clutch issues
so i was out driving today, went around a corner and punched it in second gear, went to hit third and wouldnt go, had to coast into someones driveway, couldnt get it in any gear with it running, and the pedal felt really stiff almost like the throwout bearing was jammed or something, so i call my wrecker and while i am waiting decide to play with the cable, i took it off and played around with the fork hooked it back up and still nothing, took it off again and hooked it back up and now it works, W.T.F. could i have a bad throwout bearing?

yes but its not out of adjustment, while stranded earlier and i removed my cable i put it right back where it was and it was fine.i played with the adjustment and that did nothing it was after wiggling the fork around for a while then reconnecting my cable that did it.there seems to be alot of excess play in the fork is that normal??

its almost like something binded up in there and the only thing i would think it could be judging by the circumstances is the damn throwout bearing..i just dont get it and i dont want to pull the tranny to find out i am wrong.. i could tell the cable was right with plenty of tension just the clutch was not disengaging. the pedal felt very stiff as if i had a racing clutch
