IAC problems...Help!!
My engine stalls out when you start it up cold, but once its warmed up it idles real low. I checked under the hood and the iac connector was disconnected( propably previous mechanic who worked on it) I plugged it in thinking problemed solve, and now it idles at 3000 rpm. I scanned the car with my obd, and the code 1504 (IAC circuit) popped up. I replaced the valve and the problem still occurs. Anyone have a clue to whats going on?

first make sure the TB is clean and free of all carbon build up, if not clean the TB and throttle plate...why you ask, cause what I'm about to suggest will get skewed results if Carbon build up is blocking air past the throttle plate....okay once that's done/checked, perform a base idle reset and let us know, the procedure can be found in the sticky tech articles here
