Default idles up and down

i just bought a 94 mustang gt 5.0 and it sat over the winter outside.

the problem is that when im idling the car will go up to like 1500 rpm's and then back down to 900-1000 and if it sits running to long it will stall. i was thinking that it is probibally bad gas and needs some sea foam or it might need a new sensor switch for the throttlebody. idk i dont know alot about this car yet because i only bought it 4 days ago. i do know that it has 30 pound racing injectors and 3:73 gears.

try adjusting the liitle screw that adjusts the throttle body blade.you'll see it on the back just above the throttle linkage.open it up a little and see what it does.if it closes to far it opens, then closes and so on,hence roaming idle.i just went through this,so if it not that somebody else can step in.

also check your idle air control, it is on the side of the throttle body. With higher mileage cars, it can get very dirty and create the problem you are describing. You can try cleaning it with MAF cleaner or throttle body cleaner, but you may have to replace it. Just try cleaning it first.

Allot of times the IAC is the culprit.
