Fuel problem on my 347
Ok car was running fine, but in the high rpm it feels like it suffered. I bought a 255 fuel pump now if i stomp on the gas it completley falls on its face but once it passes 4500 rpm it pulls hard. its only in the mid rang is where it falls hard. i tried messing with the fuel pressure and timing. the only time it does it less is when i use higher octane. its wierd any input would be appritiated. im guess its just a bad fuel pump?

why not drive the car with a gauge attached to the windshield and see what happens with fp, if it were a bad fp, you'd more than likely see the problem once fuel demand increases which would be in the upper rpms when demand ingreatest, a lathargic low rpm problem would more so point to bad input from a sensor or adjustment of such

I can try the gauge and drive it around see what happens and how it acts. i just find it weird that the problem started after the pump install. if it checks out fine what sensor could be the problem?
