hey i was wondering since i got a 351w motor that i am building will the 302 fit on the 351 the motors are the same age

will the 302 WHAT fit on the 351?

the heads will interchange, but intakes are different (the 351 is wider).

what parts do you want to try to use?

WRONG, stock 302 heads will NOT fit a 351 EXCEPT GT40's and P's. 351W heads will fit a 302 though. The 351 uses bigger head bolts than the 302 does so the head bolts won't fit through a stock 302 head. BUT if you are talking about aftermarket heads then a 302 head will usually fit because they already have the head bolts machined out for the 351 because it can work on either or.

Like already said though. The intakes and oil pans are different because of the wider block. Are you trying to ask what you need to swap the 351 in the mustang????
