Long tube headers in a fox

Default Long tube headers in a fox

attemting to put long tube headers in my 5.0 with my new engine
seems like the steeering shafts is in thte way does that go tru the header itself or do i need to "make it fit"

the long tubes i used to have ran the steering shaft right through the middle of the header.....between the primary's for the 6 and 7 cylinders

Yes the steering shaft runs thru the headers. Some brands of long tube headers are not fitted the right way, the steering shaft will rub on the header. The easy solution is to heat up the header and put a dimple in it until it dont hit. Be easy on it so you dont obstruct the the flow. Or you can buy a flaming river steering shaft to help eliminate it.
