87 gt 5.0 overheats HELP PLEASE !!!

also, the car has 185,000 miles on it and when you look in the radiator you can see the coolant running through it at a steady stream so i dont think their is a clog anywhere. If their is an air pocket somewhere i am not sure how to remove it, does anyone know how to check for that and how to remove it?? I am not looking to replace the engine so please help
