Default trans swap problems.

94 mustang GT AODE to T5 Swap. everything is done. went to start it, No crank; battery good, relays/fuses all good. the computer clicks when turn key to run/crank. I am stumped. do i have to do anything to the park neutral safety switch from the AODE, or jump the connector power to park?
Also what should I do with the auto harness.
Any ideas will help.
Thank You.

you need to identify the wires on the prndl switch for the starter enable and loop them together as if the car thought it was in park/nuetral = quick easy solution

shouldn't you connect the neutral safety wires to a clutch switch for a correct installation?

Ok. The starter relay circuit on the AODE NSS is comprised of 2 wires.
A White with Pink stripe(33), and Red with a Light Brown(32) stripe.
Linking these two wires together should bypass the NSS and allow the vehicle to start.

As stated above, the proper way to do this would be to cut these wires off the connector and route them to the clutch switch, at the pedal assembly. This way, the car will not start without the clutch pedal depressed.

You have 2 options.

Option 1: Cut the two wires off at the connector, elongate as necessary(or trace back) and attach them to the two posts on the clutch switch at the pedal(doesn't matter which).
This will prevent the car from starting without the clutch pedal depressed.

Option 2: Cut the two wires off at the connector, and jump them together right there. This is the quicker, simpler way, but the car WILL start WITHOUT the clutch pedal depressed, and anyone having a "brainfart" could drive the car through your house while starting it.
