I have a 86 5.0 conv, and just picked up a 93 4cyl parts car,, I'm already using the 93's whole front end, both doors, trunk, all the interior, and complete top and top frame in the 86,,, is there any way to make the dash work?
Thanks
I think it would work. May have to change some wiring. The 93 dash will have to be used with the 93 frame also. The 87-89 and 90-93 frames are different due to the addition of the airbag. Id think they would also be different from the 86 frame but not sure.

I would think only the steering wheel would be different, maybe the steering column itself, but not the dash frame.
I do have both complete cars, the 86 dash is in bad condition and has wiring issues that's why I'd like to change it,, would it be easier just to swap the 86 drivetrain into the 93?
Might be the easier way to go, swapping the engine and drivetrain into the 93 4 cyl car and keep the speed density computer but later you can swap to a mass air computer if needed.

No, dash frame is different also. The column became a non tilt column for all cars when the airbag came in and of course the steering wheel changed to reflect that. The trim around the gauges changed along with the under column/lower dash trim and the column covers.
