I need some info on how and where to weld my battle boxes for the upper and lower tq boxes on a 88 mustang. I seen on 1 site that you should drill holes in the plates on the inside to the outside plate then fill with weld so the plates are welded to each other. I would appreciate any info from anyone with expirience doing this. I wanna do this right

What brand kit did you buy? The kit i got came with decent instructions. They have to be bolted in first and then welded. Dont drill anymore holes other than for the bolts. There is four bolts for each plate.
