Default Just got a new fox body opinions needed

Got the car with the following specs. As a rookie to fox bodies Im looking for advice and opinions. Currently im having trouble starting the car once it warms up and I shut it off. Seems to me its flooding?? After it sits for about 45min it fires right up. Judging by the specs of the 770CFM, it seems a bit much for my setup? Any idea what kind of power this motor is puting out? When its running, it runs very strong.

I'd check the float levels in the carb and make sure the needle is seating and it could have a touch of vapor lock occuring

check to see if the fuel lines are close to the headers or not. you probably have vapor lock.

It has stop running completely, it wont start back no matter how long you wait. Ive got it tracked down to the coil, the coil itself is not getting any power. Its got some funky alarm system on it. Ive got it at a shop now to see if they can bypass the alarm to get it running again.

ew aftermarket alarms in foxes always seem to screw everything up... my buddy has had a few in different foxes he bought and has always had trouble with them.. this last one he basically had to rewire the whole thing..

good luck with that...

Haha, the first "mod" to my car was ditch the crappy aftermarket alarm.
