Default Master cylinder leaking

My master cylinder is leaking where it mounts to the break booster. Im wondering if i can pull it and reseal it with a gasket or something. I searched here, but can't find any info on what seal the MC to the brake booster. My breaks works fine, so I don't think i need a new MC. I just need to refill with fluid every 2-3 months, but the leak is getting worse.

Its an internal seal. if youre lucky enough to find a parts store with a rebuild kit, its a pain in the ***. save yourself the struggle and just replace the master. it should prove to increase braking power too, cuz yours is probably weak by now if its leaking.

Ok, i'll just have to get a new one, but im not sure which one to get. My master cylinder is indentical of the ones in 86 mustangs(steel body with a steel cover). The previous owner put in rear disc breaks and a proportioning valve, so maybe that why. I would rather have the one with a plastic resevoir and cap, but i don't want to get the wrong one...thanks mattdel.

Get a cobra master cylinder. They are like $90 and it will make that rear disc feel better.
