Default 1988 Mustang Mass Air Conversion Using 89 harness no spark or fuel pump. need HELP

trying to convert my 88 from speed to mass air. used an 89 harness but have no fuel pump or spark. need help

you know that you cant just swap computers, there is a little bit of re-wiring you have to do..

read that with the 89 computer harness u could just plug it in an your ready to go. so i got the 89 harness and plug it in an got no fuel or spark. i have a a9l computer,24# inj, 70mm MAF, holley systemax kit, accel distributor and ignition

atleast i was told it was an 89 harness. Has the single green connector by the computer an eec relay then it has the MAF connector and a relay out by the MAF connector.

With the 89 harness it is plug n play. You also need the MAF and the computer. Since you have the A9L and everything you should be good to go.

Did you hook the ground back up when you switched the ECU?

What codes is the computer throwing?

ground by computer good. dnt know what codes there but coil has 12v, no voltage to TPS on orange wire, an only 3 volts on red wire to injectors. also cant get wipers to shut off.

eec relay has red wire and orange wire with black tracer 4V, Red wire with green tracer 12V, Black wire with Green tracer OHM-12, 2 Black wires with orange tracer nothing

When i converted my 87gt to mass air, i used a 88 mass air harness....all i did was tap my fuel pump to my ignition switch and splice the pink/black wire of the fuel pump relay(under the drivers seat) into pin #19 on the ecu

Its a fuse link issue more than likely. Black orange wire should be a constant 12v key on or off.
