starting problem

Default starting problem
so i got a 1990 gt i was working on my car and disconectected the cable for the distributer .so i forgot i had it disconected and tried to turn it on ,then realized i had not connected the distributer...so after i connected it now it makes a clicking noise and does not turn on ??
