It sounds like the cam is the prob,, 94-95 sn95 5.0 do not like cam changes with less than 114 lobe sep, I think your e cam has 110 or 112.. that will do it to you every time.. if you want to change cams, go with the comp cams made for the odbI computer... or adapt the earlier computer(cam change is cheaper) ,, another thing to do is drill a 1/4" hole in your throttle plate to allow extra air at idle... but will prob have to yank the cam out and install new one.. good luck

I can't exactly tell you, but it has to do with engine vacuum, the sn95(94-95)5.0 computers need vacuum to function properly, and the fms cams don't do it.. the lower the # the less vacuum,,, stay with a cam that has 114 or numerically higher(116+) idle surge is the most common prob encountered, runs good after 2000 rpm, but under that can't find a consistent idle...yank it outof there..... kyle

one of my friend told me that the throttle body need a small hole on the flapper to let the air goes in.i have a Professional Products throttle body and i think i don't have this small hole.before a drill the hole on the flapper,do you think it could be problem???because the problem is when my car is on park the rpm goes always 600-900rpm,thank's!!!
