Default 1986 LX 5.0 steering rack help

I need to replace the steering rack on my Mustang but how do you tell if it has performance suspension? It seems there are a few different racks for my model year. Below are my choices so I want to make sure I get the right one.

Fit Note: Hydraulic Power Steering, With Performance Suspension

Fit Note: Hydraulic Power Steering, Without Performance Suspension (Ford Gear) With 1 Piece Mounting Bushing

Fit Note: Hydraulic Power Steering, Without Performance Suspension (TRW Gear)

Fit Note: Hydraulic Power Steering, Without Performance Suspension (Ford Gear) With 2 Piece Mounting Bushings

count your turns lock to lock, that is how most parts stores do it, and look to see if you have a 2 piece bushing rack

Thanks for the post but Im going to buy the part online so how do I know how many turns = performance or not? Also where do I look for the bushings? Ive never dealt with steering racks before aside from replacing tie rods and the usual.

slide under your car and take a pic of where it mounts, I can tell you right away by that, most are 2 piece, turn your car wheel from lock to lock count the complete revolutions, IIRC there are 3 options, 2 1/4 , 2 1/2 and 2 3/4

nope, that is a 2 piece bushing rack, they are split bushings, trust me I had napa pull the 1 piece rack they had on the shelf, they look totally different, op you have a 2 piece and most likely performance.

so does performance just have something to do with gear ratio? Is this the one I listed that would work: Fit Note: Hydraulic Power Steering, Without Performance Suspension (Ford Gear) With 2 Piece Mounting Bushings
