Default well, it runs but...

Ok i know this is kind of an update but, i do have tech questions. I swapped out motors(just finished, bone stock 5.0 out, 'built' 5.0 in) anyways, went to start the car and it fired right up! A relief to say the least as the motor Was in a MAF car and my 87 is still speed density. Now, the questions i have are

A) the o2 sensors, (they are in the long tubes already) on the drivers side, what i believe is the o2 sensor plug, is a bit melted from previous owner, and the plugs are not the same...on passenger side it seems to be missing. any help on locating where the o2 sensors plug into would be great.

B) When going to start it, pushing in the clutch and turning the key will not start it. (had to start it by jumping the solenoid yes i know its hoopty but i had to know if it ran) from what i have gathered there is a switch or sensor on the actual pedal assembly? and there is also a neutral safety switch or something as well. Is this located on the very top towards the front of the t-5 in a threaded plug type thing? when installng the trans there was an open threaded hole on top (not the backup light sensor) that i had nothing to put in there and could not find what this would be.

Again any help is appreciated

the switch on the pedal is the only one you need to concern yourself with. power originates at the ignition switch, sent to the pedal, and out to the solenoid.
