I have a programmable ecu to control the fan, but i got a taurus junkyard fan for $25 and a couple of automotive relays to control low and high speed and it works great, easy install too. I even still have the stock alternator and it still charges when on low with the headlights on. On high it draws from the battery, but that almost never comes on.

Easy as pie... I decided to go with the Flex-A-Lite Black Magic 185 fan kit, which came with all the mounting hardware and a thermostatic controller. I've got it wired up with the a/c compressor, and I also have a toggle switch and "Fan On" indicator light wired up in the cab. I also ran the +12v CONTROL wire from the accessory circuit inside my steering column so that when I crank the motor the fan doesn't run. Notice that I didn't say POWER wire - you do NOT want to be drawing power for the fan from anywhere but near the positive battery terminal. I spliced my power wire onto the battery terminal itself, but connecting to the other end where everything connects at the starter solenoid would probably be fine too. I just didn't have any more room on that terminal...

I have a triple core aluminum radiator from Summit and a Steeda radiator hold down bracket that needed to be modified to allow for the fan bracket to have a connection point at the top.

I've been running my e-fan for 2-3 weeks now and it's working great. Engine temps are rock-steady and I have no problems with using the A/C in hot weather anymore, even while sitting still.

If you haven't done a 3g alternator upgrade, you may want to do that... at low rpm's/idle the fan will come on more, and draw more current... with the stock alternator you'll probably drain your battery or kill the alternator.
