Default trans. ?

i was thinking about takeing my 5spd out and putting a C6 in my 87 coupe.....i was wondering about the pros and cons of doing this

The small block c-6's are getting harder and harder to come buy nowdays,but they can be made bullet proof but so can a c-4 and they also take less power to turn relsulting in more power to the ground,if you're wanting to get serious about going real fast then i say go for it,but if it is only going to be a weekend toy or frequent driver then i say stick with the 5 speed,for the fun of it and for the simplicity.
