Default 4.10 Gears

I am planning on purchasing some FRPP 4.10 gears and an installation kit sometime next week, and am looking to gather a little more information. I do not have the money to pay a shop/dealership to do the install, and was wondering what the difficulty is, the length of the install, and what else I would need besides the gears, installation kit and some marking compound. Thanks in advance. =)

Your better off just paying someone to do it. If you do it wrong it will cost you more than if you just saved and had it done. It shouldnt cost more than $250 for the install.

you'll need a puller for the flange, inch lbs torque wrench to measure rotational torque to set preload on pinion, a dial indicator to measure backlash and a tool to hold the flange while setting the crush collar/pinion preload, don't use an impact. the cost of the proper tools will cost more than paying someone
