I have a 1988 mustang gt with 5.0 HO

Here is my problem

I am getting a for lack of better word a whinning from my pass side rear lifter or atleast that is where it sounds like it`s coming from.

i only really here it on deacelartion,,,if i keep the engine around 2 or 3000 rpm i dont here it then when i let off i get like a squeky belt sound.

i have adjusted all the valves(hydrualic) took my belt off to make sure that belt or accerious wasnt the cause.

any help would be great
