Default Intake gasket leaks

Hey everybody. I installed my new motor and when i fired it up i have a lower intake gasket leak. I used the fel pro high performance gasket and it is leaking out the front where the cork gasket goes.I torqued it down properly and used silicone around the water ports and the front and rear cork. I guess I will have to tear it apart again, sould I just use silicone instead of the cork gasket. Any suggestions would be great.

yep never use a gasket on the front or rear. always use gasket maker on the front/rear of the lower intake

what kind of heads you running??? i know according to a few people ( i have no personal experience with this) the afr heads are angle milled and have problems with gasket leaks. if its only at the front and back you should just glob massive amounts of black silicone on them.
