Default Rear Sway Bar

I have been looking through posts and can not tell if a 95GT should have a rear sway bar or not. Looking under the one I have I see NO sway bar in the rear. It feels pretty loose back there too and its definitely NOT due to an over abundance of power! Should there be one on this car?

Default Nothing done to the rear diff yet

I haven't done anything to the rear of the car yet. I had posted a thread a while back mentioning noise from the "Rear end". Well now that I have actually taken the car out and had a chance to drive it for a while it feels very "Squirly" in the rear around corners.... That is what prompted me to look for a sway bar... There is not one there so I am curious as to whether it had broken on the previous owner and he just removed it. I am looking all over the Net for pics of the underside of a 94-98... NADA... I'd like to see one just to be sure

Can you see where the bar would have been mounted in order to tell if it might have been removed (maybe due to damage from driving over something)?

I'm pretty sure that it originally did come with one - but not 100%.

I got under and looked...... Its driving me bat $hit trying to find an UNmodified pic of the underside of one. I did see a pic of a 95 GT exhaust and in that pic it sure looks like there is a sway bar to me. I think the lack of a sway bar is working over my spider & side gears..... If the diff is cold.... Its quiet... After driving it for a while I start to get some noise from "Back there" but ONLY while turning!

You are running without?? Where do they bolt up?

AHHHH HA!! I just went and climbed under the car after finding a swaybar on EBAY that is listed to fit my car.... WOuldn't you know it... The original Snapped off right where it bolts up. I'm betting that is what more then likely wrecked my Spiders!

The sway bar will fit from 79-98 that I know of. I am sure that it will fit a 99+ too. I have swapped the one from my 98 to my 83 multiple times messing around.

lack of sway bar wont ruin the diff internals... driving like a dickface with little to no fluid in the diff will though
