Spout connector help

Default Spout connector help

Tried set timeing tonight car drives fine... Set it at 14* with the spout out but when I hook up the spout connector the timeing didnt change and I thought it did... why??? Again I'm driving the car and it seems normal but I'm lost please help

put a paper clip into each side of the plug (not the gray connector, but the part with the wires) and recheck your timing

Adder is tring to see if your spout connector has continuity.

If I don't have a paperclip can I use a jumper wire??? Also I lied when I put the spout in the timeing retards by a couple degrees and ideas why???

Ok I fixed it the connnection was dirty cleaned it know all is good the I think... Set at 14*. Then with the spout connected it's around 23*

probably...

but you need to set it w/ the spout out fo sho

with the spout it , it won't jump around, set it right on 14* and then plug the spout back in

doesn't much matter what it jumps all over to after that, it kinda sets itself
