Default 95 stang hesitation..timing?

car sat for 6 months 2200 dollar tranny rebuild later its back. put a quarter tank of 93 octane in it, timing at 16 degrees, and fresh headers. I broke the smog tube going to the headers from the egr valve.

There is no smog system on the car. No vacuum on the egr valve should i seal the valve, get a smog tube from the header to the egr valve?

it hiccups at idle and light hesitation on light throttle....idk if its too much timing, maybe its the seefoam i ran thru it last night, maybe its the egr valve.

i did so much work in the past 6 months, it could be anything 16 degrees too much timing? thanks its my girls 95GT

Yea, you definetly need to cap the header and get a block off plate for the EGR. you've created a vaccuum leak...and an exhaust leak...

You could also back the timing down a couple degrees. I wouldn't run any more than 13-14 degrees.

+1. If you hear any pinging noise from the motor turn the timing back. I would set it back to default and see if its still doing it.
