Default 302 ticking

Hi everyone, I would really like your help. I recently did some work on my 302cid whitch entaled having to pull the camshaft, lifters and push rods, I put it back together and now I have an horrible tick/clank sound coming from the engine, now before I start ripping the engine apart again I would like some advice on what to look for and to suspect. I did put the lifters/rods back in the same place and did proper touque on everything. Please help me my engine only has 15,000 km on it. Thanks for your help.

Maybe they don't have oil to them yet. You did put the distributor back in right with the oil pump shaft and everything?

Yes, I did install the same oil pump shaft. How long dose it take for oil to make it up the rod. I did take the valve cover's off and there was oilon the rockers but I guess that could be from somewhere else.
