electric fan and gauge

Default electric fan and gauge

i have an aftermarket mechanical temp gauge and i was going to buy an electric fan but the gauge works off the stock temp sensor hole to and i wanted to know i there was another spot i could put the other in or some other way to do it

most electric fan controllers have a probe that goes into the radiator fins

the one i was looking at doesn't have one my old fan did and it didn't work i had it set a 180 and it didn't turn on until the car hit 250

look into the DC controller. best one on the market, just over $100 and is a progressive controller...i.e. the fan speeds up as the motor gets hotter so you dont have any amp spikes when it turns on. i use one on my truck, have had it for over two years and love it. only controller i would run

My temp sensor is in the heater tube assembly. Should be a place on intake to put sensor on Fox.

the temp sensor for the gauge was on the right side when looking at the motor and thats where i put my mechanical gauge so whats the sensor in the heater tube assembly for

94-95 came with electric cooling fan. The sensor in the heater tube was for the electric fan.
