Default Leaking a little bit of oil...help!

Im slowly leaking a little bit of oil every time i park my car. when i bought it, it wasnt leaking oil. after i changed the oil im now leaking, and im pretty sure its from my drain plugs. plugs, meaning ive got one in the front and rear of the pan. which to my understanding is not factory.

i believe its got one drilled and tapped in the front sump, when i changed the oil the plug itself had a tappable end on it. both front and rear plugs have washers, the filter is on tight...im stumped. i havent put the car on the lift yet to look under, or on ramps or jacks.

EDIT: also, ive got Autometer Sport-Comp gauges in my dash, sometimes ive got a steady 25psi oil pressure, other times it fluctuates between 25psi when idle and 50psi when driving (which is how it should be, correct?). i can never tell if my oil pressure is low when it stays at 25psi, or if its just the sending unit, or gauge itself.

does anyone have any ideas or advice? its driving me insane.

Find out where it's coming from first. If it's the plugs, try replacing the washers. If it's the filter, it MAY be a tad loose. Also did you oil the filter o ring before you installed the filter? If you don't it can tear when tightening and cause leaks.

the drain plugs are stock. you will notice that there is a cross member that rides right through the middle of the pan. this is the reason for the 2 plugs.

Also, any oil leak that happens only while the motor is off is a pan related issue. If it was related to the drain plug, it would be all the time.

Sounds like you have an oversized plug in the front. A stocker doesnt have a tap style end on it. If so that is most likely the leak. A good washer may help but those fixes are supposed to be only temporary.

wipe the area clean of oil and debris and check the following day where the new oil is coming from. That helped me narrow down where the oil is traveling from
