it wont pop out immediately, so you have time to turn the car on, after its on you wont need the starter do you?

OOOOO Ok, I get whats going on now. For some reason I kept thinking it was a constant power wire that needed to stay on.

What side of the lighter do you wire it to? And where do I lead that wire to, the Starter solenoid?

The red/light green wire that goes to the starter solenoid. You can either do it before or after the clutch switch.

it is not exactly a normal starter kill but it is still easiy done. you want to wire it as a normally OPEN circuit, so use contacs 30 and 87 for to iterupt the starter wire. Now take the wire that come out of the center of the cig lighter, cut it and connect it to either pin 85 or 86 on the relay, and the other pin to your the key side of the starter wire.

So what happens is that when you turn the key and the lighter is pushed in, it will energize the relay when the key goes to start, connecting the starter wire and allowing it to start. If the lighter is pushed out, the coil of the relay is not energized, not connecting the starter wire and not allowing it to crank.

If you smoke it would be perfect and no one would ever know lol. Just hop in and push in the lighter so you can like a cig, start the car, it pops out and you are smoking and driving down the road and no one knows any better.

I can promis that no one will ever notice that you need to push in the cig lighter to start the car unless you tell them.

This will negat the use of the lighter if you have not figured it out. The lighter might start to heat up if you are cranking on the starter for 10-15 secs but otherwise the only time is it used is the 2 secs during start up.
