Overheating Issue ... Help Please.

Hi, I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I am new to this forum as I just purchased a 1994 GT 5.0. I am more than happy to lend any knowledge I might have to anyone in need, but today I need some help with an issue if anyone can lend some feedback!

Like I said the car is a 5.0 but has been punched .40 over with an e303 cam, TRW pistons, headers, exhaust and H pipe. As far as I know that is all the mods.

My issue is that I can drive all day long with the car not overheating as long as I do NOT run the a/c. The second I turn the a/c on the car wants to jump in temperature, it rises in temperature quickly and within 4-5 minutes the car is overheating and dumping coolant all over the place out of the overflow tank.

A/C blows great, cold and everything. I just replaced the thermostat with and OEM one and flushed the radiator that by the way has no leaks what soever. Everything seems to be in good working order other than the fact that it overheats when I turn the a/c on.

Has anyone had this experience or have any advice to send my way? It would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Jspring0033

CCRM may not be spinning fan on high.

Im feeling pretty dumb right now but what is the CCRM and how can I tell if the fan is running on high or not?

Thanks

I do know that the fan does kick on when I turn the A/C on though if that helps?

Constant control relay module. Mounted next to overflow resevoir on same bracket. Black box 20 some wires. Controls fuel and fan. Run self test will hear fan run at two different speeds.

is it an electic radiator fan? is it running with ac off or just with ac on? check to see if it is blowing right direction maybe running in reverse.
