Default Could this have fried my starter solenoid?

So I was just about finishing up some gauge installations and when i went to turn on the car, the starter got stuck.

i may have moved a few wires to make room for the oil pressure line and i noticed the + battery cable had touched the 'I' terminal on the solenoid. could that have fried it?

edit: i moved them for the picture, but they were practically touching. There's a burn mark on both the terminal and the underside of the battery cable

i really didnt see any sparks, i just unhooked the battery once it got stuck and started investigating. The only thing i can think of is that. I burned through 2 solenoids, unfortunately. Both had the same marks from the looks of it. I'm just trying to not burn the 3rd. any suggestions?
