Default 1995 cobra stalling

starts but does not want to stay running without gas. if i give it gas and it warms up it will idle fine then randomly go up and down and sometimes stall. when driving its fine but when coming to a stop it stalls. starts back up fine til the next stop. sometimes when holding the gas at around 1k it will go up like im pushing harder and then come back. NO CODES. fuel pressure stays consistent. any ideas?

dont bother cleaning the IAC, replace it.

and do a base idle reset, along with checking for vac leaks

base idle reset done several times. i was thinking the IAC also but dont want to just throw parts at it. should i have a code if it is the IAC? anyway to test it? it wont run with the IAC unplugged. checked all vac line and repaired last week (had leak at the fpr and the smog pump) no change but got rid of the codes for the egr and hego's. any other advise?

My GT did a similar thing. I turned up the timing a little and it fixed everything
