Would there be any difference in gapping platinum spark plugs? Would .054 suffice?

Platinum spark plugs can't really be gapped, they're delicate enough to the point that you break them if you try to gap them. Some people have success, but its generally not a good idea. They should be pre-gapped anyway.

you shouldnt even be using platinum plugs bro... seriously.. regular old resistor plugs is what your car needs
