Default ignition problem

I recently acquired an '89 5.0 LX problem is there's no keys with it. It looks like the guy tried to drill out the pin that holds the tumblers in the column, made a pretty good mess of it, but it looks like it should slide out. There's something holding the assembly in still though. In looking at the new one, i can't see anything that would hold the tumbler in except for the pin that was drilled out. Is there something else that needs to be taken off in order for me to pull it out? I have no keys so I cannot turn the ignition to the 'run' position.

Seems like an awful lot of work considering you can just call a locksmith and get some keys made.

I would have loved to be able to just get some keys made, but it looks like somebody tried to jam a screwdriver in it, and it's pretty much toast...
