Default throttle position sensor

So i got this new 65mmthrottle body an was wondering if i didnt set my throttle position sensor correctly would i be losing power? an since i dont have a voltage tester would i be able to set it by the rpm? while its on? around 700 is good idle? 500 probly too low an 1grand too much right? any thoughts are appreciated

you can loose hp if the voltage is so low at wot, the computer doesnt know your wot. tps voltage doesnt control idle, the set screw on the tb will do that. spend the $10 on a cheap volt meter and do it right

yeah you can get a craftsman digital mutlimeter for like $15

and you'll have multiple uses for it too. it's a good investment to have

and shoot for like .800-.950 sure .990 is great... but if you can get any of that range your good. it's a little overrated, but dont wanna be too low
