Something that may throw you off when installing the RR's, the valve may open a bit while torquing - this is normal with lifters that have already been ran before..they'll bleed off and close after a bit...

Just noticed you're running a B303 cam..just an FYI it'd probably be more efficient to run 1.6's on the intake and the 1.7's on the exhaust!

i still feel the need to spin the pushrod, because imo it's the easiest way to see zero lash

how else would you know where to start counting turns ?

and yes, maybe i was mistaken on shim size..... im thinking 1 1/4 1 1/2 turns might only need .020" shims

i was thinking my set had .020 and .040 ..... but probably .010 and .020 more like

but i would still spin the rod while hand tightening
