U/l control arms, full length subframes, full exhuast, free mods, electric fan, intake,tb,mass air and sticky tires would be a good start. And maybe some weight redution.

The SF's and U/L's will do both, improve handling and traction, and you will get alot of differnt respones on the best H/C/I combo, but i will throw you my idea and that would be the Trick flow package with twisted wedge heads.

Well roughly around 3g's for H/C/I,roller rockers, valve covers, gaskets, etc. Then you will need 190lph fuel pump, injectors,AFPR and a good clutch.Your tranny will be fine as long as you don't attempt anypower shifts and act like you got some sense.

Oh,well that's a totally different story but i assure you it won't last long behind a H/C/I motor if its stock,Maybe QUIK will drop in and give his advice since he know's his AOD'S.

first whats wrong with nitrous?

also subframes arent suspension its a form of chassis stiffening. this is what i would do if i was you. get some 70/30 struts up front [90/10 if all track] 4cyl springs on the front, stock v8 springs on rear, 50/50 shocks on rear, U/L CAs, keep rear sway bar intact. as for stiffening up i would go with full lenght subframes, get torque boxes reinforced, aluminum DS, 410s, rear end girdle, 3k stall.

for the tranny... get a good shift kit, 3k stall, largest tranny cooler you can get, a deep tranny pan, upgraded servo, poly tranny mount. now if you really wanted a great tranny you would need a solid 1 piece input shaft, kelvar clutches/bands, 2' OD band, A+servo or billet servo, Lentech or Art Carr VB, along with a 3k stall, deep pan and of course a large tranny cooler

personally i wouldnt worry about heads or intake and cam right now. i would go this route then start to look for parts like a 70mm tb, eldy performer,TF SH intake, GT40 intake, GT40E, then look for a set of GTP heads, eldy heads,GT40 swirl heads then a TFS 1 cam, AMS cam or even a crane cams one. something with around 500 lift and around 224 ish duration and 112 lope sep.

reason i said 70 mm tb with this combo is cause of the steep gears and the AOD with the 3k stall. this will be very beneficial. but suspension is KEY
