clutch cable?

clutch cable?
I was driving around just a few minutes ago, and i pressed the clutch in to switch gears then there was a popping sound and now my pedal is limp 
, what happened? And how do i fix it?

Im not the kind of person that just goes and buys a new one. I shall make it bigger and better! Who make the best adjustable clutch cable kit?

http://www.mustangtuning.com/mutucladkit.html will this fit a fox body? Because that is a heck of a price, but most parts on that site are for sn95's

how hard is it to install a new cable and quadrant. I took a look up in there today and it looks like space is limited. About how long did it take you guys to replace yours? Any special tips i need to know?
