I only had the car on jackstands and it was cramped but still enough room to work. Going from the 2.25 stock H to a 2.5 offroad H was a world of difference. I couldnt tell that much performance increase, but it sounded 20 times better, actually gave it some rumble. It ran perfectly afterwards and Ive never had a check engine light come on because of it.

Well mine has alot of rust. I made progress tonight, I just need to get a bigger wrench tomorrow to yank the other 02 sensor out and then maybe I can get those two collector bolts out. I'm happy

an offroad H on my stang it wasn't too hard to get those flange bolts off with socket and extention. Just took a bit of rust remover and elbow grease.
Yeah same here it was pretty easy impact gun long extsion and she came right off. Hope everything works out and you get the new stuff on

I'm sure it will, but the 02 is in the way of one of the bolts, the reason that the edges on one of the bolts got rounded off was because of all the rust. I'm getting a reciprocating saw and some other tools tomorrow that will help, should have all the old stuff off tomorrow and the new parts should be coming in tomorrow or the next day.

We've tried everything to get that 02 sensor out and it just won't budge, I've been soaking it in WD-40 for the past 3 nights, Hopefully when we get the H-pipe out we can get it out then. We are going to have to cut the collector studs out, the nuts are too rusted. This sucks, this is harder than I thought, but I'm really close to getting everything out. I should get atliest the new H-pipe tomorrow and if I'm lucky I'll get the new headers in also.
