Default Check Engine Light

My car I noticed when you drive at a constant rpm for a few minutes my check engine light comes on and it doesn't go off until you cut the car off, I don't have a code reader and autozone and advance say they don't have one either is there anyway to jump it?

You can get a decent OBD1 scanner for Ford from ebay for about $20. And yes, you can use a paper clip to make the CEL flash.

Search is your friend.....
