well you can get a FRPP rebuild kit for about 40 to 50 bucks. i would use that.

any brand is a good brand. theyre all about the same really. you can run MACs for about 200 bucks and they are decent enough to prevent twisting and will stiffen up the rear. subframes are nice also

call up Laurel Mountain Mustang and ask for LOU. tell him Quik sent ya. i get majority of all my parts from them

Thats a nice car and all but.........its salvage title. I would have personally talked him down way more than that. Salvage title that car is probably only worth 1500-2000 bucks. But as long as you plan on keeping it a long time, i suppose it doesnt really matter.

Sean, I did alot of market research before I decided to jump on it. I looked at for sale posts in alot of forums, went to autotrader.com and other commercial sites, and looked up all the GT convertibles I could. The only 86-93 GT convertibles I found under $2000 weren't salvage cars, they were rolling chassis without engines or transmissions. I also looked locally and did find a black GT hatch selling for only $3,000. It had 160k+ on the odometer and the rust was so bad you could see daylight through the quarter panels. So I figured this was a good deal for $600 more.

Anyway, if you can find a GT 'vert in this kind of shape for under $3600 post it here and I'll gladly eat my words.

I'm about to order a N20 kit for LMM, you mind if I use that "Quik sent me" reference too?

EDIT: That Fox is clean, looks amazing!
