Hey everyone,

Just wanted to see if anyone has an idea about what could be causing my problem. My car will randomly not idle. It will be running fine while driving but sometimes when I come to a stop light it won't stay running. It will only take the slightest bit of pressure on the gas pedal to keep it running. After I get going again and have to stop again, it idles fine and so on.
What I have done so far - Cleaned the MAF sensor. Changed the IAC and TPS. Checked the fuel pressure. The PIP sensor in the distributer has been changed also.

I'm starting to get frustrated and am looking for some more ideas or someone that had or has this similar problem.

vac leaks will always cause issues.

I hear you, but in my past experience a vacuum leak is either there or it isn't, its not intermittant. This sounds more like a sensor going bad or something.

try doing a proper base idle reset procedure and see if that helps, and just cuz you got a new iac doesn't necessarily mean that you got a good one, rare but sometimes new parts can be bad.
