How to remove and install hatch struts?

How to remove and install hatch struts?
After using a prop to keep the hatch up for about 10 years i'm finally am ready to change the worn out struts.I not sure how to remove the old one as there doesn't appear to be any bolts to remove.Any help would be greatly appricated.
