i just recently got a new motor and cam put in.
cam is a comp cams xtreme cam...
it idles good around 700 to 1100 rpm's but then jumps up to 1500 which seems to hight in my opinion anyone no how to fix this?

did you do a proper base idle reset procedure? if your idle keeps jumping try taking a wrench and tapping/beating on the idle air control motor. if the idle levels out, your iac was sticking. you can try cleaning it first and if that doesn't work, replace it...
