Default What are these lines I broke (pic inside)?

I carelessly pulled two hoses on the passenger side off to get at the spark plug next to the firewall and in doing so I snapped two plastic lines (I think they're some kind of vacuum lines). I've attached two pictures which I'm hoping someone will recognize and help me identify. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

those lines go to the smog equipment. since you live in MA just emiminate all of that BS since we dont have to pass emissions anyway.

I noticed that it was connected to what I believed to be smog equip of some type. I wasn't sure how it would affect performance. So now I'm not worried about that, thanks. I could swear that I've seen some steam coming from the right side of the car on two occasions since I broke the lines. Maybe the one going to the heater core valve I should replace. I haven't noticed a change in idle, and that was the first thing I thought for sure would be affected when I saw they were vacuum lines I broke.

wouldnt be steam. it would be exhaust funes. dont replace just rip it out. the smog hinders performance anyway. its just there for emissions reasons. and since we dont have to pass it. screw it pull it all out and get a short belt
