its only when the engines on and the sound increases as the rpms go up. sounds like front end. Ive replaced the alternator. and as i have the fan off and i have spun the waterpump shaft and it sounds like waters getting pushed thro. but my power steering pump pully is loose and makes a semi chattering noise when i spin it? any ideas?

check your smog pump, its the one on the lower left when standing facing the motor from the front of the car, it should be close to silent, if it is bad I would recommend hunting down a fomoco one in a junkyard or something along those lines I've had nothing but bad luck with cardone ones

also with the power steering pump, check and see if the noise changes when you turn the wheel, my power steering pump whine's whenever I turn
