Default distributor

i would like to know what is the big deal between stock distributor and those one made by MSD.do we really need to change the stock distributor when we mod's our stang?? i moded my engine with gt-40 ported heads,E303 CAM,24lbs maf,cold air intake,24lbs delphi injectors,1.7 roller rockers,cold air intake,underdrive pulley's,professional products lower and upper intake,70mm throttle body,1 5/8 headers,magnaflow cat back,190lph fuel pump and a new shift kits for my aode transmission

I heard the msd will give you better and more accurate timing.
but if you have to change it anyways why not go with a msd.

i also heard it smoothens things out. better throttle response. but if i were you i would also get the MSD box as well. with that thing you can tell a bigger difference. just a suggestion
