Default Thinking of getting a 94-95 GT

I just wanted some feedback on these years on the 5.0 I am selling my car cause it's basically jacked up. I plan on having like 3-4K to spend and I found a couple of 94-95 GT's in that range. Any problems with these years?? I don't want the 96-96 GT's cause of the faulty intake.[sm=feedback.gif]

Oh yeah, and this car will not be for racing. I need it to last for a while Only mods I want are gears and a cat-back.....I already have some Nitto's waiting for it.

I have a 94 GT and I love it. Very solid choice - just make sure if you are considering getting a car make sure you get it up on a lift and check it out or have someone look at it for you.

You will be fine with those yrs. look at it on a lift and check the VIN # and run a carfax. Get one that a girl drove that doesnt race chances are it wont be driven the hell out of.

I got a 94 GT and I like it a lot. Its a pretty solid car, and they look a lot better than the foxes. The only stuff you really gotta worry about replacing is the rear end if it has a lot of miles, and the harmonic balancer went out on mine, which was only a 100 dollar part. Other than that the T-5 transmission is usually good for over 200k miles, and the motor is good for 160-200k miles.
