it actually runs cool. the guage runs 1/4 of the way up the guage. i replaced the water pump on it recently and got one for a 88 and it had a diff offset on the pulley so when i put mu pulley on it wouldnt go cause the harmonic balancer was in the way. i took the waterpump to the ford place and they couldnt even tell me what it fit. son i went to o'reilys nand they found it but all they could tell me was it fit a 90-91, but they didnt know what kind of vehical. they must have got it right cause it runs as cool as it always has. it also has a aftermarket electric fans so that prolly helps. i also put a timing chain on it whill i was in there and the one that came off the car was double chain but the one thay gave me to put back on was single. (dont make no diff to me) lol. does the double chain tell anything about what kind of motor it is??

I'm willing to bet if you hooked that thing up to a code reader it would say "One car at a time, please"

well u would have lost that bet man cause it does have a thermostat cause i put a new gasket on it when i changed the waterpump and it has a 180 or 190 thermo it dont remember and it wasnt stuck lol. and it has a single row radiator. could it be a diff year motor that doesnt have the oil sensor??

well i guess ur right but theres gonna be alot of work getting all this rigging out and right now im in the middle of body work and getting ready for paint so im just gonna leave it if it works until i get that done then i will star more into the rats nest.

well the water pump is for a 90- 91 model and thats the only year that ould match up. and the car is 88. i know its not an original motor but i dont know what year it is. this thing is a inbreed. 94 intake. 9-91 motor. 88 body. ???? oil pan. 85 front clip. some other model ford seats. lol im gonna have to make a list for everything so i know what year parts i need when i have to replace something.

hahahaha well the other bad part about it is ITS PLASTIC. lol i been meaning to put it in the fender one day si it would be a true cold air but it being plastic would defeat thge purpose. ive never been a fan of enzyte. viagra seems to be more popular. (even though me being 18 i have never had that prob)
