Default Car Jerks in 1st and 2nd

When I start from a standstill my car will feel like its lunging forward and backwards. Sounds like something underneath that car is hitting everytime the car lunges one direction. 93 Ford Mustang 302 Manual Transmission.
If you need a different description just ask.

it starts from a stand still fine and get moving but a couple seconds into it it will start jerking until i accelerate half way to 2nd then start doing it more in 2nd until i shift into 3rd. After that its no longer apparent.

I could be your clutch bouncing, I think you need to explain it better because the way you say it it just sounds like driver error (no offense meant by that)

When I start from a standstill it gets into gear just fine. It doesn't stutter or anything.

But after about 25 feet with little to no acceleration the car goes forward but it feels like its jerking back and forth.

Almost as if something is slipping somewhere in the drive train.

Like something is loosing grip and get grip back.

And I can hear something under the car clanking as it doesn't it.

It's called clutch chatter and it's normal if the clutch and flywheel are old/original.

Check your control arms on the rear housing upper and lower and where it attaches to the frame rails,, sounds as if one has pulled through the bushing, OR put it up on jackstands(rear) have someone run it through the gears (while looking under the car)to see if anything is moving abnormally, just remember there will be moveing parts!!!!!!
